Feb. 1, Tue. Snow
I can hardly believe that February has come. We don’t have many work days January and February is a short month, so Japanese people say that January and February go by very fast. I am reading the Fly Lady book again, and my house is very clean.

Feb. 6, Sun. clear
I went to Hayatama Grand Shrine to the museum. There are many national treasures in it. We worked up a good sweat when we hiked the Kumano Kodo from Shingu to Nachikatsu’ura at a fast pace.

Feb. 14, Tue. Clear Valentine’s Day
Ken’s　classmate’s　mom　passed away, so he went to the funeral. He didn’t even say Happy Valentine’s Day to me.

Feb. 20, Sun. cloudy
I talked with my sister, Kaytlin yesterday. She and her husband, Herbie invited us to go to France with them next year. I said their was some possibility of us going.

Feb. 26, Sat. cloudy, clearing a little
Ken went out drinking with his friends. I fell asleep in front of the fireplace without realizing it.
